Before reaching out
What happens if we talk? It is not about forcing a decision.
A first conversation is a chance to slow the loop down and understand what has been difficult to see alone.
You do not need to show up with a perfectly explained problem.
The first conversation
We start by slowing the loop down.
Many people reach out after carrying the same decision internally for a long time.
They may have thought about it from every angle, talked to friends, researched possibilities, made lists, imagined future outcomes, and still feel no closer to movement.
The first conversation is not about rushing you toward an answer.
It is about understanding what is happening inside the decision process itself.
What we may look at
The decision may be stuck in a more specific place than it first appears.
We may start by naming the actual decision. Many people arrive carrying several overlapping questions without realizing they are trying to solve them all at once.
From there, we may explore whether the problem is about not seeing enough options, having too many competing possibilities without a clear way to choose, or needing clearer decision criteria.
We may also discover that the challenge is less about making a decision than about living with it once it has been made.
What you can expect
You are not handing me the decision.
Thoughtful perspective
We look at the decision carefully before jumping to solutions.
Honest uncertainty
Some decisions involve real uncertainty. The work is not always eliminating it. Sometimes it is learning how to move while carrying it more honestly.
A low-pressure conversation
There is no expectation that you already know the answer or that you need to commit to anything.
If you want to explore further first
You do not need to reach out immediately.
Some people prefer to orient themselves first. That is completely fine. There is no right place to start. Follow what feels most useful.
